- SPECIAL NOTES FOR THE ASCII TEXT VERSION
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------
- | The file 3D.ASC contains an ASCII version of the document. |
- | |
- | This document is an ASCII text version of the RTF document. |
- | As such, NONE of the figures and graphics are available on-line |

- WHERE CAN I GET THE ZED3D PACKAGE?
- ==================================
-
- The package is normally distributed on internet. You can get it by
- FTPing at the site below:
-
- x2ftp.oulu.fi
-
- It _should_ be in the directory /pub/msdos/programming/docs, but I can't
- guarantee that because it says in a readme or something that directories
- and files can be moved around without warning.
-
- I normally name the package zed3d???.zip, where ??? is the version number.
- Example, for version 0.42 beta, ??? would be 042.
-
- If you do not have access to FTP but do have access to e-mail on internet,
- you most probably can get it through some FTPmail service. There are a few
- listed below. I can't guarantee they will work, but it might be well worth
- the try.
-
- ftpmail@inet-gw-2.pa.dec.com
- - Send a message with "help" for the body of the letter.
-
- bitftp@pucc@princeton.edu
- - Send a message with "help" for the body of the letter.
-
- ftpmail@decwrl.dec.com
- - I don't know how this one works.
-
- You will need to use some decompressor utility that can understand
- PKZIP's format (most probably PKUNZIP). Unix users, I know you can find
- such a utility, but I don't know where. Unix users can NOT use gunzip to
- extract the files from the archive. The gunzip program will only extract
- the first file of the archive at most. You need to find some other unzipping
- tool that understands the PC PKZIP format.
